Lisa Clifton
Senior Client Data Manager
Lisa Clifton is a Senior Data Manager and Energy Analyst for Fusebox. Lisa supports the Fusebox mission by tracking and analyzing utility bill data, troubleshooting spikes, and anomalies, and providing individualized feedback to help clients reduce usage and demand. Lisa analyzes utility rate plans and works on special projects such as solar return-on-investment calculations. Lisa also has expertise in ENERGY STAR benchmarking and certification.
Lisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and worked as an engineer and manager for ten years at Intel Corporation before returning to school and earning her Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Arizona State University. Her thesis focused on remediation of groundwater contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons, combining her interests in water and energy. Attending ASU formalized her interest in sustainability and led to her involvement with the U.S. Green Building Council and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). She became a LEED Green Associate in 2011 and joined the USGBC AZ Green Schools Committee in 2012, becoming Vice-Chair and then Green Schools Chair in 2015. Working with Fusebox allows Lisa to combine her engineering and troubleshooting skills with her passion for promoting energy conservation and sustainability.
